Import and convert 3DS or OBJ Models

  • *.3ds file: Select Main Menu -> Tools -> Convert *.3ds Model to Object or click 
  • *.obj file: Select Main Menu -> Tools -> Convert *.obj Model to Object or click
A file Dialog opens with following options:


You may swap and/or invert the axis to get the best view of the object (There is no real standard here...)
If the imported model uses texture and if you plan to change texture to video texture then it's a good time to define the maximum duration in frames from your object.

Once you click "Open", you will be prompted to enter the *.pal name of the converted PhotoAnim library file and to load the object to the current scenery.
